Steven Laurin + Company, offers a comprehensive range of building design services, specializing in fine residential design.
With offices located for 20 years in Newport, 15 of those years at The Audrain Building on Bellevue Avenue, presently we enjoy the
convenience from working out of a home-based studio. In effect, this arrangement enables us to pass the resulting overhead
savings to our clients. Additionally, due to being a small design office, all projects are personally designed and completed by the
firm's sole owner and designer - Steven Laurin.

Over 200 buildings ranging from small additions + renovations, to large custom estates, have been
designed and successfully completed by Steven Laurin during his career. Each project varies in
expression to reflect responses to our client’s particular needs, budget constraints, schedule, site
and environmental conditions. Associate consulting engineers - if required by the particular needs of
the client’s program - are all managed with a focus on maintaining a consistency in design
methodology.
Our service to the client is both very practical and interactive, obtaining a balance of cost flexibility,
high design integrity and the need for a building’s longevity in the environment.
